I Dream a World

On Wednesday May 26, Horizon Voices, directed by Maria Belva, will perform a concert of songs celebrating the dream of unity, freedom, and peace, featuring choral music by African American and women composers. This concert is the culmination of a unique year of mostly virtual rehearsals and occasional outdoor gatherings for neighborhood serenades. Bring a blanket or folding chair and come celebrate our youth raising their voices together in song.

Tickets are $5 per individual or $10 per family. When ordering a family ticket, please fill in the number of individuals in your party (audience members only - do not include your singer). Attendance will be limited to abide by the State of Maine CDC guidelines for COVID-19.

All attendees over the age of two must wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times from all attendees outside their household. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 (including but not limited to fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea), or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has had symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days, you must stay home and contact your doctor for further instructions. If you have to cancel your tickets due to COVID-19-related symptoms, we will refund your payment less processing fees.

This project is supported in part by an Alfred Nash Patterson Grant from Choral Arts New England.
