In partnership with the Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education, Classical Uprising presents a noontime concert with Ethiopia's first (and only) all-women classical quartet. Cookies and coffee/tea will be provided.
Attendees may also visit the library’s current exhibition, "Maine on Display: Nineteenth Century Wall Maps Bird's Eye Views", featuring a variety of detailed bird’s eye view and wall maps of Maine counties, cities, and towns, and includes popular viewbooks and postcards.
Tickets – This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is recommended. Seating is limited, so registration is limited to 20. Walk-ins will be admitted if space allows.

Ethio Classic Quartet is on tour as part of Center Stage, a public diplomacy initiative of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs with funding provided by the U.S. Government, administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts in cooperation with the U.S. Regional Arts Organizations.
